I know it’s never a good time to raise prices.  But unfortunately it’s unsustainable to continue running Strong + Bendy at our current prices.

 I have tried my best to keep our costs as low as I can; making many personal sacrifices over the years. I have, on many occasions, forfeited paying myself, and during the pandemic sold my home to free up money to keep the business going.

I genuinely have no regrets – I love Strong + Bendy and the community we’ve built together – but I now need to try and find some security after such a turbulent time. 

I appreciate for some people the increases will feel significant, but I want to reassure you that I am not trying to jump on the bandwagon of increasing prices. This is simply my only option to keep the business going. 

I know many of you would rather pay a bit more and still have us around, than receive a sad email to say we are closing down.

For those of you who can’t afford the new prices- I am genuinely sorry. The knowledge I may price out some customers has made this a difficult decision to make. 

I’d kindly ask that no one asks me to make any exceptions on our new pricing.  If you cannot afford the new price for the membership you are on, you have the option to reduce down to a cheaper membership or buy drop in classes as and when you can afford to do so. 

Our new drop-in price for 1 class is £18 and our cost per class on memberships is between £10.50 – £14 (depending on which membership level you are on). For comparison; the closest fitness studios to Strong + Bendy are F45 and Wick Crossfit –  their drop in class prices are £27 and £24. So, we do continue to be a lot cheaper than other local options.
