*Our Yoga classes will resume from May 17 when our indoor studio re-opens. In the meantime, please check-out our full schedule of outdoor classes*
Our friendly, skilled teachers deliver 3 different styles of yoga: Vinyassa, Power Yoga, and Desk Therapy. Our indoor studio is beautifully decorated and in warmer weather we can move our classes outdoors under the shade of the willow tree in our exercise garden.
Classes are marked as ‘open to all’ or ‘intermediate’. ‘Open to all’ classes are suitable for everyone, even if it’s your first time trying yoga. Intermediate classes are better suited to those who’ve practised yoga regularly for 12 months or more.
A slow paced and low impact restorative class focused on stretching and releasing tension in the body caused by desk-based work. Finishes with a relaxing meditation to calm the mind.
Power Yoga is a vinyasa (flow) practise that links each movement to breath. Classes always follow the format of meditation and setting an intention for your practise, followed by sun salutations, standing poses, abdominal work, back-bending, and hip opening, ending in a long period of relaxation.
Power Yoga can be modified to be as strong or gentle practise as you like, with modifications for beginners, through to those wanting to work on the more advanced poses such as handstands.
A dynamic class focused on basic poses and their alignment. Perfect for those just starting out, or people looking for a gentle practise and a refresh of the correct alignment for the main yoga poses.
If you’re seeking a more challenging class, look out for intermediate classes on our schedule.
A dynamic and challenging flow. This class is most suited to more experienced students who have practised yoga for a number of years.
We recommend beginners start with our ‘open to all levels’ classes.
All classes need to be booked in advance (no walk-ins): drop-in, class bundle & membership options are available.
Weather permitting, yoga classes will be held outdoors under our beautiful willow tree and canopy shades. If held indoors, mats will be positioned 2 metres apart and the windows and doors will remain open onto our garden for ventilation (so please bring an extra layer just in case!). Due to Covid-19 our instructors are not currently offering any ‘hands-on’ assistance and we request you bring your own mat.
Please check out our FAQs for more information around the measures we’re taking to keep our instructors and members safe.
