Our friendly, skilled teachers deliver many different styles of yoga. Our indoor studio is beautifully decorated and well ventilated and in warmer weather we can move our classes outdoors under the shade of the willow tree in our exercise garden.
Classes are marked as ‘open to all’ or ‘intermediate’. ‘Open to all’ classes are suitable for everyone, even if it’s your first time trying yoga. Intermediate classes are better suited to those who’ve practised yoga regularly for 12 months or more.
Ladder flow yoga is where postures are gradually ‘stacked’ one after another, adding new poses each round to create a flow that feels like learning a dance routine.
By the end of the class you’ll have practiced a wide variety of poses, memorized a full flow and gotten a great workout. These sequences link breath and movement, helping you clear your mind, and challenge your entire body. The best part? At the end of the class the full routine is done to the beat of an awesome carefully chosen song, everyone will be moving in perfect unison.
Each class will be focused on a different element and a different body part. Not suitable for beginners. Please look for our yoga classes marked as ‘open to all’ for those suitable for beginners.
Yin Yang Yoga blends two styles of yoga into one practice – bringing together the benefits of passively holding yoga poses with more dynamic sequences and standing postures. Yin is more internal, passive, while Yang is more external and dynamic.
The class begins with 30 minutes of gentle Yang (Vinyasa), followed by 30 minutes of Yin (restorative). A class that’s both an energising way to start your week and restful too.
Yoga classes are held inside our well ventilated studio, with the option to move the class outside into our beautiful fitness garden on nice days. We’re so lucky to have an incredible range of independant local cafes a short walk from the studio to grab an amazing brunch in Hackney Wick afterwards.
For all of our classes we use Liforme yoga mats. Once you’ve used a Liforme mat there’s no going back! They’re high-grip and have marks on the mat that help guide you to position your body evenly….plus they’re eco friendly as they’re made from biodegradable materials!
