A high intensity class moving between your own set of battleropes and bodyweight moves.
Battleropes are heavy ropes which are ‘whipped’ up and down from an anchor point. Work your back, chest, legs, arms and core (and have fun doing it!)
The class always includes a mixture of both intervals, sprint and endurance training so it’s never dull.
The class was designed by studio founder and Battle Ropes World Record Holder Rhian Cowburn. Rhi whipped the ropes for over 1 hour straight to secure the title of world record holder. She shares in the class her tips, moves and training that led her to be the best in the world on the ropes.
This class is open to all, so don’t worry if you’ve never used a batterope before, you will be shown the proper technique (which is very easy to pick up).
The bodyweight moves included in the class will include planks, burpees, star jumps, press ups (+more) so expect to be pushed. Be warned – you will burn the next day!
We run this class in our outdoor gym fitness garden whatever the weather. The garden is sheltered from the elements, but not heated or completely water-tight, so please dress accordingly.
This class can only be taught outside in our exercise garden and will not be moved indoors during bad weather. Our willow tree and canopy shades offer some protection from the elements, but they’re not water-tight so please dress accordingly.
All classes need to be booked in advance (no walk-ins): single pass, class bundle & membership options are available.
